Midland Cabinets is a local custom cabinets company serving Greenwood, TX and the surrounding Midland area. From your first call to the final walkthrough, you work with the same local crew — no call centers, no out-of-town subcontractors, just straight answers and quality work at a fair price.
Greenwood sits about 12 miles southeast of Midland in Midland County. Greenwood is a rural-residential community southeast of Midland, still in Midland County but with a different feel than the city: larger lots, homes on acreage, and the strong local identity that comes with a well-known school district. Properties here often have the room for the kind of cabinetry that doesn't fit a standard city lot — big kitchens, walk-in pantries, mudrooms built for country living, generous garage and shop storage, and offices or built-ins that use the extra space. That makes Greenwood good work for a custom shop rather than an off-the-shelf one, because the whole point is building to the room you actually have. The climate is the same arid Permian Basin air as Midland proper, dry enough that cabinetry has to be built and finished to stay stable while wood loses moisture and moves. We plan for that with materials suited to dry conditions, proper acclimation, and joinery that stays tight without depending on humidity. Because Greenwood homes are spread out on larger properties, careful in-home measuring matters even more — every project starts there, so the finished cabinets fit the space precisely, and everything is built in our shop and installed by the same crew that measured it. The short drive southeast is one we make regularly, so a Greenwood job gets the same schedule and craftsmanship as anything in town. Whether you're finishing out a new house on acreage, reworking a large kitchen, or adding real storage to a shop or garage, you get real wood, sound construction, a finish meant for West Texas conditions, an itemized quote before anything is cut, and one local shop standing behind the job from measure to install.
Because we already know Midland County homes and how the dry Permian Basin climate treats real wood, we build every Greenwood job to fit the room in front of us instead of forcing it into a stock size. From the first in-home measurement to the final adjustment you work with the same local shop, and the price you’re quoted is the price you pay.
