Midland Cabinets is a local custom cabinets company serving Odessa, TX and the surrounding Midland area. From your first call to the final walkthrough, you work with the same local crew — no call centers, no out-of-town subcontractors, just straight answers and quality work at a fair price.
Odessa sits about 20 miles west of Midland in Ector County. Odessa is the other half of the Midland-Odessa metro, the Ector County side of the Permian Basin and every bit as tied to the oil-and-gas economy as Midland itself. For a cabinet shop that means Odessa keeps a steady stream of the same work: kitchens being modernized in long-established neighborhoods, bathrooms and laundry rooms reworked, garages turned into real storage, and cabinet packages going into the new houses that go up when the basin is busy. It also means the same hard, dry climate. Odessa's air is arid enough that cabinetry has to be built to move with it, because wood that isn't allowed to acclimate and isn't joined for dry conditions will shrink and gap through a West Texas summer. We build for that from the start, choosing stable materials, letting stock settle to local conditions, and using joinery that holds up rather than relying on a finish to hide movement. Every Odessa job begins with an in-home measure, so what we build actually fits your room instead of forcing your room to fit a stock size, and it's made in our shop and set by the same crew that measured it. The drive west to Odessa is short and one we make constantly, so an Odessa project gets the same attention and the same schedule as one in Midland. Whether it's a full kitchen, a set of bathroom vanities, an office wall of built-ins, or garage cabinets that finally corral the clutter, you get real wood, sound construction, and a finish meant for this climate. As on every job, you get an itemized quote up front and one local shop standing behind the work from measure to install.
Because we already know Ector County homes and how the dry Permian Basin climate treats real wood, we build every Odessa job to fit the room in front of us instead of forcing it into a stock size. From the first in-home measurement to the final adjustment you work with the same local shop, and the price you’re quoted is the price you pay.
